Job Summary:
The Director of Solar Solutions will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s solar business in the Houston, TX area. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in the solar industry, operations management, and business development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing and managing a successful solar business while ensuring efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the solar business in Houston, TX and future Corporate and Franchise locations across the country. 
  • Oversee daily operations, including sales, installations, and customer service.
  • Lead and mentor teams across sales, project management, and installation crews.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures to ensure profitability.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to solar energy.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes, improving efficiencies, and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and community outreach programs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of solar technology, installation processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in business development, P&L management, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
